Advantage HealthPoint was opened in November 2016 by the locals, Ari and Anna Kantzides. Their aim upon opening was to create a centre (or HealthPoint) where patients could attend and feel welcomed, but also receive high-quality care and access numerous healthcare services in a single location.

Dr Aristotle Kantzides (Dr Ari)
(BSc(Hons), PhD, MBBS, FRACGP)
Dr Ari is our Practice Director, GP and medical acupuncturist at Advantage HealthPoint.
Dr Ari is committed to excellence in patient care and service, embracing change to enable a preferable and gentler patient experience.
Dr Ari sees patients with complex needs and has special field of interests in skin cancer, geriatrics and addiction medicine.
Dr John Hambly has completed training with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and is a General Practitioner and Senior Emergency Doctor.
Originally from Cornwall (‘Doc Martin’) he emigrated to QLD in 1996. He has worked in Emergency/ICU for twenty years, the RFDS (fixed wing) and QES (helicopter). He has worked remotely as a Cruise Ship Doctor, Expedition Doctor and TV Doctor. He has had ecotourism and recruitment businesses.
He has held formal education positions at Oxford and Monash Universities.
His interests are general medicine, care of the elderly, mental health, skin and surgical procedures.
Family time, fishing, camping and adventure are important to him.
Dr. Elnaz Khorshidian has been practicing medicine since 2005 in several countries. She can speak multiple languages fluently.
Elnaz strongly believes in patient-centred care, and has significant experience in all areas of general medicine with particular interest in women’s health, child’s health and immunization, and also management of chronic disease.
Dr Yuan Ding has recently started with us at Advantage Healthpoint. He has come over from GLCH in Lakes Entrance. Dr Ding specialises in all aspects of general medicine including ear micro suction (similar to ear syringing) Yuan works Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.
Dr Chris Kozlovski specialises in Mental Health, Asthma, Hyper mobility issues and Migraines. Chris will be working at AHP permanently working from Monday through to Friday.
Dr Mark Finn is a registered counsellor with a Master of Counselling. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours and a PhD (Critical Psych) and has been lecturing and researching in psychology since 2000.
Mark is excited to now be applying his theoretical and technical knowledge to help people understand themselves, their lives and others and to support people in times of challenge, whatever that may look like. His therapeutic approach is to build a caring, authentic and judgment-free connection with clients. His focus is primarily person-centred and strengths-based.
Mark offers counselling to adults and couples.
Mark is registered with the Australian Counselling Association and is active with his professional development.

Anna and Brooke work together to assist in the smooth running of the clinic. Our job description is generally to help everyone with everything and more! We ensure that all accreditation, privacy and other requirements are met, make sure people get paid, help patients and staff when things don’t go as expected, and importantly, try to keep the tea room stocked!
Krystal came to Advantage HealthPoint in late 2020, joining us from Omeo Health services. She has a passion for creating systems to follow, and applies them to the collection of our outstanding accounts! She is always helpful and up for a chat and a laugh.
Elise joined the team in August 2022. While coming from different backgrounds and experiences, they all share the common traits of kindness, empathy and helpfulness.
